The REAL Reason Sutton Stracke Got Demoted
The mystery is solved!
This week our quarantine prayers were answered and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returned to our screens in an amazing premiere episode, where we met new Housewife Garcelle Beauvais and "friend of" Sutton Stracke.
Naturally Bravo fans were scrambling for answers of why Sutton only appeared in a reduced role. After some googling, it seems like we finally have a pretty solid reason of why Sutton was demoted before the show went to air.
When asked about the demotion in an interview with Access Hollywood, Sutton confirmed she filmed the show as a full-time Housewife, however, during the season she wasn't allowed to have her children on the show which stopped the southern belle from showing that side of her life on screen. However, she hopes that next season she'll be able to have her kids on the show.
Photos also emerged of Sutton filming the opening credits for the show last year which proves she really was supposed to be a Housewife this season, until something happened behind the scenes.
Although Sutton missed out on a diamond this time around, in an interview with Us Weekly she gave us a tease of what her potential tagline may have been, revealing:
“Everybody’s asking me that. I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’ I always really liked something like, ‘I might be Southern, but don’t ring my bell.' Who knows? Who knows what they would’ve come up with.”
There have been whispers around the internet claiming Sutton's wealthy ex-husband "stopped" her from becoming a full-time Housewife, which makes sense considering he would've had to sign off on allowing his children to film. Let's just hope he signs on the dotted line next year so that Sutton can grab that juicy diamond.
Can you imagine filming an entire season thinking you're an official Housewife of Beverly Hills and then winding up as a lousy friend? That would suck more than Teddi Mellencamp's personality...
Speaking of Sutton's ex-husband, I did some digging and according to Distractify her ex, Thibeault "Christian" Stracke is "the global head of credit research at PIMCO, an investment management company. He manages real estate and corporate investments and has been in the business for more than 20 years."
I literally have no idea what any of that means, but it all translates to money. If you're getting custom Dolce & Gabbana tiaras for your birthday every year, then clearly you have real cash, not like some of Sutton's other cast members that we won't mention... *cough* Dorit *cough*
In the past Housewives like Brandi Glanville and Sonja Morgan's children were NEVER allowed to appear on the show, so I'm not sure why Bravo would put a line in the sand with Sutton, but at the end of the day, she's basically a Housewife without the dramatic effect of a diamond. I know we're only one episode in but I am officially a Sutton stan.
