Jules Wainstein Arrested For Battery In Florida
What is up with New York Housewives and Florida arrests?
Former star of The Real Housewives of New York City, Jules Wainstein is following in the footsteps of her costars Luann de Lesseps and Tinsley Mortimer after being arrested for battery in Florida.
According to Page Six, the former reality star was arrested on Sunday for battery, however, the specifics around who she allegedly assaulted aren't known at this time. So basically, the outlet got a copy of her mugshot but struggled to actually get any details around why she was arrested...
Although she was initially handcuffed in Boca Raton, where she lives, Jules was booked in Palm Beach County’s main detention center around 3:50 p.m. There really needs to be a law stopping any past or present cast members of RHONY traveling to Florida, because it never ends well.
Jules appeared in court on Monday, along with the alleged victim, however, the outlet left out any further details. Her arraignment is scheduled for March 16. Page Six reached out to both Jules' attorneys, as well as, her ex-husband Michael Wainstein's attorneys for a comment on the issue, however, they had nothing to say.
The former Bravolebrity is currently living in Boca Raton, while she sorts out her acrimonious divorce. This divorce has been going on since 2016 after the couple filed while Jules' season of RHONY was airing. Jules explained her living arrangements during an interview with BravoTV.com last year, revealing:
“Until my divorce is over, I’m temporarily living in Boca at my parents’, which actually happened to be a nice thing because unfortunately my father just recently passed away. So we got to spend the last year with him, which we wouldn’t have spent as much time if we were living in New York. So we’ll be there until things settle, and then hopefully we’ll move back soon.”
