Braunwyn Windham-Burke Admits To Cheating On Her Husband
Well Gina wasn't all the way wrong...
A few weeks ago Gina Kirschenheiter stated she believed Braunwyn Windham-Burke's husband cheated on her in the past which is the reason she is open to having threesomes, however, now Brown Wind is admitting she was actually the one who stepped out in her marriage.
During the RHOC After Show, the ladies were asked about Gina sleeping with her ex-husband and Braunwyn admitted she understands the struggle of infidelity and trying to make it work for the sake of your family, because she cheated.
While she's previously spoken on the show about how the couple almost got divorced due to Sean's busy work schedule, Braunwyn finally revealed more of the reason why. She explained:
“I cheated on Sean. We separated. I took the kids. He was with someone else too. We were in two different homes. I went to Hawaii. I took the kids. I enrolled them in school. I told Sean I was done. I just didn’t want to be a single mom anymore, he travelled 25 days a month."
When she moved to Hawaii, Braunwyn said she started dating a new guy but it was "very PG" and after a few months of being separated, Sean flew there, quit his job and re-proposed to her. The newbie Housewife shared:
“It was very PG [her Hawaii relationship]. It was like, holding hands on a surfboard kind of thing. It was someone that listened to me. We surfed together. We would go for walks. I wasn’t ready for anything more but it was just nice to have someone listen. After a few months he flew out to Hawaii, and he got down on one knee and re-proposed to me. He had quit his job, he was the president of a very successful company. [Sean] sold his shares and walked away and he became a stay-at-home-dad for eight years. He said, ‘I would rather chose you guys than my work.'"
This is such a juicy backstory, why didn't she give us this on the show?! It would've been the perfect time for Braunwyn to open up about the struggles in her marriage to the other women, particularly, Gina who was going through all her mess. However, the Amanda Bynes lookalike probably would've said: IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU BRAUNWYN!
Following Sean coming to Hawaii, Brown Wind said it took a while but she decided to give their marriage another chance and over a number of years they put in the work to be in the place they are in now. In her words it was the best thing that could've ever happened to them, which is normally the case with every couple who makes it through infidelity. Braunwyn explained:
“That’s when I decided to give him another chance. It was years of work. We put in the work and we came out better for it. We acknowledged where we were, how we got there, and what we wanted. For us, it was the best thing that ever happened."
I don't care what anyone says I like Braunwyn and even though it's not the most likeable thing to admit you fooled around on your husband, I can respect her honesty.
