Stassi Schroeder Finally Addresses Her Feud With Kristen Doute
This is one duo I don't want to see breaking up.
The upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules is right around the corner and everyone with a Bravo addiction has heard the rumors of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute's feud being a major part of it, however, the blonde reality star is finally acknowledging and dishing on her relationship with her former bestie.
During an episode of her podcast Straight Up With Stassi, the newly engaged cast member revealed Kristen is definitely feuding with "some" of her cast members on the show and said filming the opening credits for the new season of the show was "awkward" considering they currently aren't talking.
I don't care what you say, but I'd rather watch Stassi be friends with Kristen over Katie Maloney any day of the week.
After talking about the awkward opening credits shoot, Stassi spoke about their rift, even though she wouldn't divulge too much information, she said everyone's instincts with who she's feuding with is right. Which is basically her PR approved way of confirming she's fighting with Kristen. She also re-confirmed Kristen "Suck A Dick" Doute was not at her engagement party.
Stassi maintains she and Kristen are currently on a "break" and admitted she doesn't know how their feud is going to play out on the show. She explained:
“I’ve sat there and I’m like, ‘Am I going to look like the asshole in this situation or is she?’ I have no idea. I’m prepared to look like the asshole but whatever it is, I’m like, listen, I have to take care of my own mental and emotional health first. And if taking a break from someone is a bitch move and makes me nasty, I’m like, I don’t give a fuck."
Both ladies have looked like assholes in the past, so I truly have no idea how this is going to play out. We still don't know what they're fighting over but my money is on it having something to do with Kristen's on-and-off relationship, which ruffled Stassi and Katie's feathers last season.
They aren't getting along right now, however, Stassi made sure everyone knows she still cares about Kristen, even though she wants to kill her. Stassi shared:
"It doesn’t mean that I don’t care about her, I absolutely do. It’s just sometimes, you just can’t be in a room with someone without wanting to kill them."
The day after the release of the podcast episode, the two did end up in a room together and that room was the SUR restaurant. They both attended an event for their friend Jared, who is currently battling leukemia, and according to a new report from Hollywood Life, everyone managed to get along for the day, even though Stassi and Kristen didn't actually speak. An eye witness told the outlet:
“Kristen and Stassi didn’t speak, but they had no problem being in the same room together. Kristen hung out with Brittany Cartwright most of the time. They were at SUR to raise money for their friend Jared, who is battling leukemia. There was no drama there and you couldn’t tell the two were even feuding. Stassi stuck close to her fiance Beau and all the girls graciously posed for photos with fans. Katie, Ariana Maddox, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz were also there. Brittany even got behind the bar to make cocktails. Everyone was able to put aside any differences for the day.”
