Vanderpump Rules Newbies Cause Drama In Season 8

A new era of SUR back alley fights is upon us.

Due to the Vanderpump Rules cast growing up, maturing and mostly deciding to get along with each other, Bravo was forced to bring in a bunch of thirsty newbies to take the show back to its hay day full of scandalous hookups and drunk fights in the SUR parking lot.

For season eight, Bravo decided to cast "employees" from Lisa Vanderpump's WeHo restaurants including (SUR, Pump, and TomTom) to mix things up. With everyone in the OG crew getting along we definitely need some fresh blood to remind us why we fell in love with this show in the first place.

The cast shot their season eight opening credits last week and three newbies were present: Dayna Kathan, Brett Caprioni, Max Boyens. Let's break down what they're (allegedly) going to bring to the show this season.

First off, according to Hollywood Life, Max is one of two managers at TomTom and his dick is getting him in a lot of trouble this season, as he has fucked multiple women across LVP's WeHo empire. Really? You're the manager who's fucking the stuff? This is mess we need to see. Max seems like he's the New Jax, an insider explained:

“Another sticking point for the drama is one of the managers at TomTom, Max. He hooks up with multiple women who are employees at Lisa Vanderpump’s various restaurants and it causes a lot of tension amongst the cast."

According to the same article, there are many newcomers this season in large and small and three of them are named Brett. Could Bravo do any better casting than bringing on three Bretts? We already have two Toms! However, it seems like we won't even remember two of them as one of the Bretts "stirs the pot more than the others," and I'm guessing it's Brett Caprioni because he earned a place in the opening credits.

The third known newbie is Dayna, who managed to get in good with the girls but still cause drama with the group as she apparently fights with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright all season. You might recognize her because she was in the background last season when Jax was FaceTiming Brittany from that hotel saying there were girls in his room, before Little Miss Kentucky Muffin called Dayna a whore.

Dayna is giving me Season One Stassi vibes and I am here for it. Another insider also spilled the tea to Hollywood Life about Dayna's behavior this season saying:

“Dayna is coming in hot – she is really tight with Stassi, Lala, Katie, and Kristen, in particular and has wanted to be a part of the show for a while now,” a source told the site. She’s worked at Sur and been friends with the cast for awhile now, but she doesn’t get along with Brittany or Jax so a lot of the drama will center around that, as she also is friendly with James and Raquel. Her birthday party was filmed already, too.”

Lots of the newbies are getting involved in the drama (which is what we need) and, like usual, it seems Jax is a main part of the conflict in the upcoming season, just like he has been for the last seven. The source shared:

“The new cast members who come in really shake things up for the existing ones. You’ll also see new members from several of Lisa’s restaurants, including TomTom, SUR and Pump. The season will focus heavily on the new cast members coming in and causing drama. Jax especially fights with several of them.”

That's not all! Hollywood Life, also caught up with the cheating cokehead turned newlywed and he confessed he hasn't hung out with most of the new cast members and finds them all to be a bit thirsty:

“I’ve only hung out with one of them; the other ones are extremely young, very naive to the whole situation. To me, some of them seem a little thirsty. We don’t really allow new people to come in, just because we have such a history of all of us. “And we have a lot of just…we’re very close and we just don’t like people kind of breaking in to our circle, because we just don’t know what their intentions are. It’s nothing personal against these people, it’s just, we like our group the way it is.”

Umm. Cool. So he's filming a show with people but barely has the decency to be around them? What's the bet the only new person Jax has hung out with is the one fucking the staff?
