Kenya Moore & Marc Daly Divorcing After Two Years Of Marriage

Life Twirls On!

On Monday Kenya Moore appeared on The Tamron Hall Show with her husband Marc Daly and daughter Brooklyn, but by the time Thursday rolled around, the couple were announcing their divorce.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, who broke the news, Kenya and Marc decided to go their separate ways two years after their secret wedding in St. Lucia in June 2017. The couple also welcomed their daughter in November 2018.

Does this news make sense to anyone? This week has literally been the Kenya and Marc show. They made their daytime TV debut on Monday as a happy family to talk about their IVF journey and Kenya even called Marc the love of her life.

So in the space of three days, she went from declaring him as the love of her life to filing for divorce? Okay.

On Tuesday the couple were also spotted attending a benefit hosted by Marc in honor of the Black Man Lab, to celebrate black men in Atlanta. All of Kenya’s RHOA costars her in attendance and it was captured by Bravo cameras. WHY WOULD HE BE FILMING TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THEIR DIVORCE ANNOUNCEMENT? THIS IS INSANE?!

This still makes zero sense. The couple both released statements through PEOPLE but didn’t give us any tea on why they are splitting, I guess we just have to wait for the show to air in November...

Kenya’s statement read:

“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”

Marc’s statement read:

“I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”

This is so fucking confusing and although I love Kenya, I can also spot a publicity stunt from a mile away, I’m not mad at her though. Kenya knows how to bring the entertainment to reality TV and this divorce storyline in the MIDDLE of filming for The Real Housewives of Atlanta is definitely going to do just that.
