Dorit Kemsley's Frozen Bank Account Seized To Pay PK's Debt In $1.2 Million Lawsuit
This is pretty fucking big news but we know they won't talk about it on the show.
The Kemsley's financial status just continues to get worse. While Dorit Kemsley was in New York filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during fashion week, her husband was in court to hear some pretty shitty news.
According to The Blast, the Los Angeles judge in charge of PK's lawsuit ordered for the $29,634.10 in Dorit's bank account to be seized by the court and given to her husband's creditor Nicos Kirzis, who is suing him for $1.2 million. The bank account was initially frozen months ago after a court order during the ongoing case.
Dorit argued all of the money was solely hers and that none of the funds came from her husband, demanding that she keep her money. However, she failed to prove in court that PK didn't contribute to the bank account and the $29.3K was given to Kirzis to pay off the money PK owes him. $30K is a splash in the ocean compared to the $1.2 million he actually owes.
The case has been going on for over a year now and from the start, PK has argued that he doesn't owe Kirzis the money because he filed bankruptcy in the United Kingdom which wiped all his debts from that time.
So, Dorit's bank account has been drained to pay her husband's debt but I'm guessing she'll still spend the next season living in a six million dollar home, wearing head to toe Gucci and not talk about her legal troubles. Ugh.
