Tamra Judge Reveals Why She Exposed The Train Rumor
This train rumor is the gift that keeps on giving.
The current season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has been way more dramatic and fun than the last two, mainly due to a rumor that Kelly Dodd had a sex train with eight men. Although Vicki Gunvalson brought up the allegation to the group, Tamra Judge was the one who first talked about the train on camera, however, like any experienced Housewife, Tamra said she exposed the rumor for the viewers.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the reality turned late in life Christian revealed she only brought it up because she was doing the viewers a favor and didn't want to spend another two seasons talking about something Vicki threatens to bring up because she has been on the receiving end of that in the past. Tamra explained:
"I feel I did the viewers a favor. By just saying that we got it out there and we don't have to spend two years with Vicki Gunvalson saying, 'I know something that I can’t reveal!' So, we all know! It was something that was told to Shannon [Beador] and Vicki last year, offseason. I never really thought it was gonna be brought up or an issue or anything, but then Vicki kept going, going and I'm like, 'Are you talking about the train?' Almost like, 'That stupid rumor?'"
Although Tamra and Kelly were close during the episodes that are airing, you would have to be living under a rock not to know that these two are no longer friends and Tamra revealed the reason they aren't getting along and how there's no way she could forgive the resident cunt caller of OC:
"I would say, three quarters into the season, everything falls apart. Kelly does something towards the end of the [season] that is very hurtful and very damaging. I tried not to bring too much light to it, because I really didn't want to talk about it, so I kind of kept those emotions in. I go away on a vacation and come back and I find out she's trashing me to everybody. So, I really don’t know what happened, 'cause I haven't seen it yet. I'll find out when everybody else does."
Of course, this prompted the question of how Tamra can forgive Vicki for all the damaging shit she has done in the past and not Kelly, but she stated it's because of her long friendship with the OG of the OC that she doesn't have with Kelly:
"It's taken me a long time, Shannon and I both a long time, and I think that Vicki is in a place in her life right now where she is happy. I mean, if it happens again, I'm definitely done. So, it took me a couple of years, even the beginning of this season, I was not fully onboard with Vicki. It's been probably the last four months that we have gotten closer. I don't have that background with Kelly, and there is a difference between Kelly and Vicki. Vicki doesn’t go after your children. Kelly just gets low, very low, nonstop. The rest of us, we don’t go there. The show has changed since Kelly has been on. Just ask Heather Dubrow."
And that's not all. The interviewer juiced Tamra for all the tea he could during their sit down and even addressed Kelly's comments on a podcast last week, where she said she wanted to bring Gretchen Rossi back to the show because she "hates Tamra to the core," however, the CUT Fitness owner said she has receipts to prove Kelly hates Gretchen too, but Tamra didn't even give the ex-Housewife the satisfaction of saying her name:
"Well, I'm not really afraid of that woman (meaning Gretchen) and I have text messages from Kelly saying she hates that woman too … Kelly can speak out of both sides, always."
WE NEED TO SEE THOSE TEXT MESSAGES! How funny is it that every single time someone starts fighting with Tamra, they immediately become Instagram besties with Gretchen and Lizzie Rovsek.
After Shannon invited Tamra, Vicki, Gina and Braunwyn to her end of summer party, it was clear there's a divide between the blondes and brunettes in the group, which Tamra elaborated on saying Kelly's only ally is Emily Simpson, who's also not close with many others in the group:
"Right now, she has Emily, who's been out there bashing all of us, every single one of us on social media, and we have all kept our mouths quiet. The only one that she has right now is Emily."
I'm obsessed with this season of OC and it sounds like we have a whole lot more drama coming our way. Thank fuck for this comeback season.
