NeNe Leakes Allegedly Banned From Filming First RHOA Season 12 Episodes After Physical Altercation

According to a new report from LoveBScott, the OG of the ATL NeNe Leakes has been banned from filming early episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's twelfth season which has currently been in production for two weeks. Sources shared:

"NeNe has been forced to “sit out” for at least the first part of the season — maybe longer — as the ladies begin filming."

The ban is allegedly due to NeNe's "bad attitude" when dealing with executives and producers behind the scenes of the show and her physical altercation with a cameraman last season which ended up with a crew member in hospital. She is currently paid per episode, so if she doesn't shoot, she's losing money.

Bottom line: be nice to people and you can get paid.

As well as NeNe's ban from filming, the LoveBScott report also shared how Kenya Moore's return to the show is officially a done deal after she signed on with a raise, despite what other reports are saying. We'll also definitely get to see her husband Marc Daly and their baby Brooklyn in the upcoming season. In addition to Kenya returning, the producers are allegedly also looking for a BIG name to draw viewers.

Following the LoveBScott report being published, NeNe's team spoke to Entertainment Tonight denying she was banned from shooting and only hasn't began taping due to contract negotiations:

"I can say with authority that there is absolutely no truth to this. The only reason why she's not currently shooting is because she is still in active negotiations with her contract."
