TBT: Sonja Morgan Talks Clubbing With Madonna

Nobody loves a throwback more than Sonja Morgan!

For our seventh installment of Throwback Thursday I decided to mix it up is back and feature a different kind of throwback, rather than one of our vintage Bravo blogs. This week we are looking back at Sonja talking about the days when she would go clubbing with Madonna and John-John Kennedy.

Sonja still lives back in her glory days of the 80s and 90s which were filled with wild parties, exotic vacations, royal families and her rich husband, so it only makes sense for us to celebrate at least one of Sonja's stories about the good old days. While on the red carpet for the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, Lady Morgan recounted the time she'd spent with the night's honouree Madonna.

According to The Real Housewives Of New York City star, when she was a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology she'd go clubbing at the Palladium which was where she bumped into a tonne of famous people:

“That was back when I was in school before anyone had cellphones. We would all hang out in the Michael Todd room, once you got in the private room, everyone was in the same level. They didn’t care what your walk of life was. It was very private. Nobody asked who anybody was."

Turns out she was also an LGBT ally back then too because she talked about how she'd hang out with “fabulous gays who dressed to the nines with a breastplate or a bustier or a tiara, and looking like Madonna, basically.”

If anyone asked Madonna she probably wouldn't recall who the fuck Sonja was because they met in a coked-up club in the 80s, however, I believe Sonja's stories. She may have appeared to be a bit delusional in the past but she's lived an exciting life and definitely needs to write her own memoir to clue us in on all her amazing stories that have gone down.

How many times do we think the Morgan estate have paid her not to write her own book because if Erika Jayne "wrote" a memoir, surely Sonja was approached?
