David Beador Storms Out Of Court In Custody Case With Shannon Beador
This is never ending!
The Real Housewives of Orange County are getting ready to start filming their fourteenth season any day now and there is SO much tea to report. The OG of the OC got demoted, Gina's got arrested and now Shannon Beador's bug-eyed ex-husband is turning the Orange County courthouse into a Jerry Springer episode.
According to Radar Online, her estranged husband David Beador wanted Shannon to no longer be allowed to drink in the presence of their children AND wanted his monthly child support payments of $30K lowered, however, the judge denied his request for both these things and he stormed out of the courtroom.
The judge had this to say in regards to Shannon's drinking:
“I’m not going to make that order. I will make an order that neither you nor Shannon shall be impaired during your parenting time, but as for consumption of alcohol, you are free. We live in America and you are free to consume alcohol wherever you want. You can even get in a car after consuming alcohol. You can even consume alcohol with your kids in the car, although that makes my heart go wild. You may not drive while impaired. You may not parent while impaired. … She may not drink to the point of impairment at the presence of the children.”
So basically she can't get drunk while looking after her daughters, which I really don't think Shannon was doing anyway but this is just another bullshit way for her asshole ex-husband to attempt to control her.
David, who is representing himself, told the court:
“It is destroying our children. It’s unbelievably sad that this is about money. Mrs. Beador, God bless her, she’s doing amazingly well. I’m so proud of her. She’s doing fantastic. She’s making a ton of money. It’s unbelievable but it’s my opinion that because she is getting $22,500 a month there is no reason to settle the case. There’s just never a reason.”
I literally hate him.
The couple are both expected back in court in April for their custody trial which should last four to five days and falls right in the middle of RHOC filming. This judge knows how to create great TV. The trial will focus on how much child support David pays Shannon considering he is claiming she makes more money than him AND he is also requesting 50/50 custody as Shannon has the kids 85%.
Hopefully, this can all be officially over and David can enjoy his days with his new sugar baby who yells at Walmart staff.
