Ross Inia Arrested For Public Intoxication & Battery Against An Officer In Palm Beach
This is straight out of Class with the Countess!
What is it when Bravolebrities travel to Palm Beach over the holidays? Only days before the one year anniversary of Luann de Lesseps' now iconic arrest, Ross Inia was partying in the same city and arrested on almost identical charges after a night of hard drinking. Is it a rule that if you have a contract with Bravo you have to get drunk and/or arrested in (West) Palm Beach?
According to jail records and The Cheat Sheet, Ross was out with Joao Franco from Below Deck Meditteranean and another friend as they were having a night of drinking together. After documenting their night on social media, Joao posted footage to his Instagram story saying they were "looking for him for four hours" after he was arrested.
The new reality star checked into the West Palm Beach jail at 3.21am Saturday morning and was charged with public intoxication, battery on a law enforcement officer and crimes against a person/harm public servant.
Joao claimed on his story that Ross grabbed him "as a mate" when the police grabbed and handcuffed them, however, Ross resisted arrest, hence the battery against a public servant charge.
His total bond amount is set at $15,550 and I'm not sure how this bodes well for his work in the US. Technically, Ross is a New Zealand citizen, so I'm not sure if he can stay in the country with two felonies. He'll probably reach a plea deal similar to what Countess Luann did earlier this year, but she is a rich white American woman and he's an average New Zealand man.
