The Real Reason Marlo Hampton Doesn't Have A Peach

Everything makes sense now.

For years Marlo Hampton has been a recurring fixture in the background of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She always pops up for just the right amount of time to cause some drama and leave, however, she's never held a peach and according to a new report we know why she probably never will.

A blog which is very close to RHOA production, TheJasmineBrand, dropped an exclusive article about why Marlo has never held a peach. Apparently she was never upgraded to a full-time Housewife because she used the F-word during her fight with Sheree Whitfield in South Africa during season four. No, not fuck, the other F-word that rhymes with maggots.

After Marlo referred to Sheree's friend with a derogatory gay slur, the Bravo executives were allegedly angered with her behaviour, especially Andy Cohen who was said to be "livid" with her use of the word.

This is confusing to me because NeNe Leakes, Teresa Giudice and countless other Housewives have said homophobic things over the years so I don't know why it's different when Marlo uses an ignorant word.

Although she isn't holding a peach this season, Marlo is appearing more than ever in a "friend" position and is making more money than newbies Eva Marcille and Shamari DeVoe. As long as Marlo's checks are large I don't think she cares about being peachless. Marlo not being a full-time Housewife is probably due to a PR issue for advertisers and I'm sure her criminal record doesn't help the matter.

Marlotta is my FAVOURITE cast member on Atlanta and although I'd prefer her to have a peach, as long as we see her pop up from time to time, I'm good.
