Jason Hoppy Accused Of Exploiting Dennis Shield's Death In Custody Battle

What a sick fuck.

If their four year divorce wasn't enough, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are now going at it through another intense custody battle and like all of their previous legal ventures, it is getting ugly fast.

Following Bethenny's boyfriend Dennis Shield's death in August, Jason claimed she was a bad mother to let her child around someone with a drug addiction and requested that Bethenny be forced to legally undergo a drug test as a result.

However, Page Six is reporting the judge didn't believe his tale of events and claimed he was only asking for a drug test to humiliate the Skinnygirl mogul after he had never made those claims against her before and ONLY requested she be tested after the judge granted Bethenny's request for a custody trial. The judge told Jason:

“There was a tragedy which I think you’re trying to exploit to embarrass Ms. Frankel."

Jason and his laywer are also trying to claim Bethenny has a substance abuse problem not only from her relationship with Dennis but due to her appearing drunk on social media and The Real Housewives of New York. We've seen her drunk maybe ONCE in ten seasons so this is a piss poor excuse at best. Try better Jason. His lawyer stating:

“If this is what she’s putting out in public, we don’t know what she’s doing in private."

The custody trial is set to begin in 2019, which means we have far from seen the last of this mess playing out in the courts. If he said this shit during the pre-trial proceedings imagine what else he'll have to say.
