The Situation Sentenced Over Tax Evasion Case

This is a situation!

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been sentenced to eight months in prison following his tax evasion case. He must also complete 500 hours of community service, pay $10,000 in restitution and have two years of supervised release.

He previously plead guilty in January for the charges and he was given permission to film Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in Miami and Las Vegas. The prosecution was asking for him to be sentenced for 14 months in prison but his legal team asked the judge to go easy on the reality star.

Mike’s brother Marc Sorrentino, who he committed the tax evasion with, was sentenced to two years in prison and will be made to pay $75,000 in restitution. Marc will be able to surrender himself to prison and will be supervised for a year after his release.

The entire shore gang: Snooki, JWOWW, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Pauly D, Vinny Guadagino and Deena Nicole Cortese were all with him in court.

It's safe to assume they are already filming the third installment of their family vacation especially since two days ago Deena posted a group shot with her costars with the camera crew present.
