Bethenny Frankel's Boyfriend Found Dead After Overdose
I'm so shook.
I literally could not believe this tea when I got a Page Six alert on my phone. The New York Post AKA Page Six is reporting Bethenny Frankel's on-and-off boyfriend Dennis Shields was found dead in his Trump Tower apartment after a suspected opioid overdose earlier this morning.
Dennis allegedly asked his assistant to give him Narcan around 9am after he thought he was going to overdose on prescription pills but died before the medication kicked in, which is normally used to reverse opiod overdoses. He was offically pronounced dead after shortly after.
Bethenny began dating him in 2016 but the two randomly broke up many times. She made it clear they loved each other but just couldn't be together. Our thoughts are with her but also his family and children who lost him. This is just so sad.
The Real Housewives of New York City star previously said this about their relationship:
“I’ve been with someone on and off for years,” she said. “It’s like a partnership where if we’re not being teammates and it’s not working and one man is down, then the other man is down. We’re trying to really kind of be good partners and be good teammates and I think relationships oddly are — and this sounds cold — but a little bit like business.”

UPDATED: TMZ is reporting Dennis took oxycodone on Thursday night and awoke in panic on Friday, telling his housekeeper to buy in Narcan from the pharmacy, which stops an opioid overdose. He fell unconsciousness and the maid then called 911.
