Carole Radziwill Allegedly Fired After Bethenny Frankel's RHONY Ultimatum
It's Bethenny Frankel's world and the RHONY ladies are just living in it!
After Carole Radziwill's shock departure from The Real Housewives of New York City only days after the reunion taping and before the season had even finished airing, rumours emerged claiming she had quit the show due to her feud with former BFF Bethenny but now there's more to the story: Carole was actually fired because of it.
In Housewives land, hardly anyone leaves at their own accord. Most fired cast members release a statement saying "they are going in a different direction" when the next season begins filming and they are no longer apart of it, so it's weird that Carole announced her depature while the show is still airing but it's likely because something went wrong for her behind-the-scenes.
According to Shira's Got The Scoop, celebrity gossip columnist Rob Shuter confirmed that Carole was in fact fired from the show. He shared:
“Carole was fired. Bethenny is great TV, but bad on a personal level.”
Rob has strong connections to the RHONY production and knew tea about the reunion and that Carole wasn't returning before her official statement went public, so he is a somewhat reliable source when it comes to this tea.
Rob also confirmed to Shira's Got The Scoop, that Bethenny did in fact give the producers an ultimatum saying it was either her of Carole for season 11. Obviously they chose Bethenny. The Skinnygirl mogul is the unofficial Queen Bee of New York Housewives and has a strong hold with production. She isn't the one casting the show each season, but she has enough power to threaten to quit if they don't drop someone else. Much like Lisa Vanderpump with Brandi Glanville.
This isn't very hard to believe. All the less dominant players on the show that have crossed Bethenny are no longer there: Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Jules Wainstein and now Carole. Bethenny has had a feud with literally every member of the cast in some degree and the only reason why Ramona, Luann, Sonja and Dorinda are still around is because they are vital to the show's success and not as disposable as the other ladies who have been let go. Is Mugshot Mortimer next?
