Denise Richards "Very Close" To Joining RHOBH
There's a new Housewife in the 90210.
After years of rumours that Denise Richards may be joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills they've been confirmed with People, Us Weekly and E! News all reporting from separate sources that she is very close to signing on and should officially become a Housewife by next week at the latest and begin shooting.
Apparently, she's wanted to join the show for years and is already close friends with Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards, so she already has those fake connections to the group. She also has a messy backstory with her ex-husband being Charlie Sheen, a few rehab visits and her own cancelled reality show Denise Richards: It's Complicated. People reported:
“She has close relationships with many of the women in real life, including Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. The timing was never right for her in the past, but the producers needed to shake the dynamic of the show up after a season without much conflict. She’s going to be a great fit. She’s not afraid of the drama. And she lives a glamorous, Hollywood life — which the show looks for.”
Another juicy thing I found was that her new boyfriend Aaron Phypers' ex-wife is Nicollette Sheridan who was also once married to Rinna's husband Harry Fucking Hamlin. Beverly Hills IS a really small town and I don't think any two House Husbands have ever had the same ex-wife, let alone a famous one.
Maybe Nicollette should be the next to join because we know her behind the scenes days on Desperate Housewives have definitely prepared her for fighting with a group of women. Maybe that's season ten.
Production for Beverly Hills usually begins right after Fourth of July but obviously Denise's negotiations delayed filming. I'm excited for her to return because the show can't get much worse than it was last season. I'm not sure how much drama she is going to bring but hopefully she gives us the same 90s actress magic that Lisa Rinna gave when she rocked up in season five. It's still no Brandi Glanville though...
