Luann De Lesseps Back In Rehab Following Failed Intervention

It has been a YEAR of Luann!

On Monday it was announced by People.com that the Countess had checked herself back into rehab for the second time in less than a year. She's once again seeking help for alcohol treatment after she had just celebrated six months of sobriety. She is also being sued by her children and ex-husband so that may have something to do with it.

For some reason Lu allowed Bethenny Frankel to make a statement on her behalf? What the fuck? Read it in her nasal voice and it's so much funnier:

“This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided — with their support — that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process. Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.”

Page Six is also reporting that Luann's close circle held an intervention for her weeks ago but it just pushed her away from her friends even more, that's probably why Bethenny gave the statement!

Hmm. This just seems like a really sneaky way to get out of the reunion and not have to talk about her current legal family situation and her new boyfriend, but whatever you say Bravo! Couldn't she wait to go after the taping?
