RHOC Season 13 Taglines Revealed!
Bravo dropped a breadcrumb for us by teasing The Real Housewives of Orange County’s new taglines ahead of the season 13 premiere. This year the ladies got an upgraded look and are holding their oranges in a full body shot like many of the other franchises, all the women are dressed in white with Tamra and Shannon sharing the centre, so you can bet Bravo got an enraged call from the OG of the OC when she stumbled across these today. The taglines themselves aren’t great all round and they all drag on too long, but while some a little cringeworthy and generic there are still some iconic taglines in this batch.
Let's break these hilarious taglines down below!
Vicki Gunvalson: "The fun bus is leaving, and this time I’m in the driver’s seat."
Eh. It's vintage Vicki but it could've been a little better. I don't feel strongly either way about her latest tagline but it looks like she whoops it up and manages to have fun this season so it's right on brand, I guess?
Tamra Judge: "I’m still the hottest Housewife in Orange County, and the toughest, too."
OC's hottest Housewife once again threw it back to her first tagline which after eleven years on Bravo still manages to be true, but added that she's also the toughest which probably has something to do with her broken foot and Eddie's heart problems this season.
Kelly Dodd: "Call animal control, ‘cause there’s a cougar on the loose in the OC.”
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE TAGLINES EVER! Sometimes it's not what you say it's how you say it but Kelly nails both of those things. When a tagline makes you laugh out loud that's a good sign and it's getting me excited to see Miss Dodd out on the prowl for young OC hunks in the new season.
Emily Simpson: "When you come from humble beginnings, you count your blessings… one diamond at a time.”
This is a little pretencious but it works. Obviously, the new Housewife has a rags to riches past so this tagline will play into her storyline on the show. It's okay but not anything too memorable.
Gina Kirschenheiter: "I speak the truth… even if it sounds funny when I say it.”
She's from Long Island, get it? The other newbie's tagline is strong and funny but she should have joked about her alleged cheater husband who she's divorcing this season because that's the storyline I'm interested in.
Shannon Beador: "Some people say I’m too much to handle. I say, I’m just getting started.”
Really Shannon? Miss Beador is one of my favourite Housewives but the "I'm just getting started taglines" have been recycled about 200 times across the franchise and are generic as fuck but I like the first part because if she's one thing it's too much, but in the best way possible.
