Kenya Moore Officially Won't Return For RHOA Season 11

I never thought this day would actually come.
After many rumours that Kenya Moore wouldn't be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it seems they have officially been confirmed and we have seen the last of Mrs Moore-Daly as a Housewife on the franchise she contributed so much too.
Tamara Tattles, who always have accurate tea when it comes to RHOA and Kenya in particular, are reporting that Bravo offered her a "friend contract" for the new season due to her pregnancy, however, Kenya didn't want to take it and had until July 9th to film in some form but she didn't which means she won't be in the new season at all. TT shared:
"Truly Original and Bravo are not offering Kenya a full-time role under any circumstance. Kenya felt like she was in a place of strength due to the pregnancy that many of us were looking forward to seeing on the upcoming season. Production felt like she was forcing their hand and they didn’t like it."
The producers wanted to give Kenya a "drastic" pay cut for the new season to film the same amount as she did as a full time cast member but be credited as a friend. She allegedly wanted a deal like Kim Zolciak had last season, were if she was a friend then she would have an episode guarantee at her usual rate per episode, but production didn't allow it so Kenya walked.
The reason behind the July 9th deadline and why it means she will not be featured at all is because every three weeks Bravo pays the RHOA production company, Truly Original, a check for a rough cut of an episode which then allows Truly to subsequently pay the ladies their salary for the episode. July 9th was when Bravo needed the rough cut for the first episode but because Kenya hasn't filmed, Bravo didn't include her salary in the check they paid Truly, which means she won't appear in the premiere or get paid for it.
It's already been confirmed that Eva Marcille will replace Sheree Whitfield for season eleven, however, it's still between the newbie they are casting Shamari DeVoe or Marlo Hampton to take Kenya's peach. Production apparently aren't happy with their options and were keeping Miss Moore around as a back up if they didn't chose either girl to hold a peach. Eva's wedding will also be the season finale if anyone is interested.
Ugh, without Kenya I really don't see this season being entertaining. She had a pregnancy storyline and brought the D-R-A-M-A to the show, so it's sad and frustrating to see her era of mess leave this franchise. Let's just hope Marlo gets a peach because she's been working hard for that stone fruit.
Are you sad to see her go? Sound off in the comments!
