7 Reasons Why RHOD's Third Season Will Be Its Best Yet

I didn't think these Texan women could top their stellar second season which left a clear divide between with cast, however, after watching the trailer it showed me these southern bitches have A LOT more to give. There is a stigma around Potomac and Dallas because of their weak debuts but you would be a fool to miss out on the catfights, shade, bull riding, epic one liners and Jesus Juice drinking that this upcoming season is going to have no shortage of. If you are still aren't conviced to tune in, here are seven reasons why season three will be The Real Housewives of Dallas' best one yet:

1. LeeAnne Locken

If you are going to watch for one reason make it be this one. LeeAnne "They're Just Hands" Locken is the dysfunctional beating heart of this franchise and probably gives more than ANY Housewife that's come before her. Whether she's threatening to kill her cast members, throwing plates, getting in people's faces, delivering epic one liners, which she already gave us multiple of from that trailer, or her feud with Brandi which has become the corner stone of this franchise, you can ALWAYS count on LeeAnne to deliver some must watch TV.

2. Exotic Trips

Bravo must have stepped up their Mexico shoe string budget for the ladies this time around because they are not only going to the snow in Beaver Creek but are even heading to Copenhagen, it's always good to see the ladies taken out of their natural habitat. While I'm over the Housewives cold European trips, if they deliver some Amsterdam style drama and keep the alcohol flowing then they just might get away with the choice to follow the recent Housewives trend.

3. Costume Parties

No one loves a theme party more than a housewife and that is more than reflected in this season when the ladies attend an 80s prom party, a frat party and even run the streets of Denmark in matching outfits. There's something so soothing about watching grown women argue in ridiculous costumes and we should count our lucky stars we don't have to sit through another Great Gatsby, Halloween or White themed party this season.

4. Brandi's Adoption After suffering a miscarriage last season, Brandi's upcoming storyline will be all about adopting her son Bruin, who like the rest of her clan is a redhead. I don't think we've ever seen an adoption storyline on the Housewives before so it will be a beautiful thing to watch and of course there will be drama attached to it when LeeAnne calls Brandi an alcoholic. The fact that these ladies even managed to create some drama from an adoption storyline shows how good this season is going to be.

5. Mark & Cary Skinny Dipping

Okay, I don't actually want to watch Cary and her husband Mark "The Roundup" Deuber get naked and hug in the ocean but I just want to know why that happened and why they needed to do it in front of all her friends. My money is that it's a vow renewal or a Ramona New Beginning of sorts but until we know it's still a reason to watch.

6. D'Andra vs Kameron

These two definitely get the award for most surprising beef. When we ended last season they seemed like solid allies so it's weird to see them duke it out in the new trailer and hear Kam utter the ancient Housewives proverb "How dare you go near my family." I don't even know what these two could be fighting about, maybe D'Andra left a bad Amazon review for that pink dog food? Who knows, but it definitely makes BOTH the sophomore Housewives key players and for the new season.

7. It Gets Physical?

The only thing more surprising than D'Andra's beef with Kam is her almost getting physical with her BFF LeeAnne. My mouth hit the floor! These two are legit besties so I have a feeling their fight was an isolated incident and probably the product of an alcohol induced night, but when did D'Andra start having all these feuds? The second season curse seems to have hit Miss Simmons hard and I couldn't be prouder of her for going all out for the purpose of reality TV and giving us SEVERAL reasons to watch.
