The concept of reality TV provides us with an exclusive look into the lives of the rich and famous. The cameras catch the good, bad but mostly the ugly that happens in their lives on a daily basis. Infidelity has long been at the core of many storylines and always provides fans with juicy drama at the expense of the stars because of the dense emotional issues that revolve around it. In honour of the insane Tristan Thompson cheating scandal, where he has been (alleged) to have cheated with FIVE girls - that we know of, here is a list of the biggest cheating scandals to rock the most famous couples of reality TV.
Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick - Keeping Up With The Kardashians
This Kardashian couple's relationship was no stranger to controversy. Kourtney & Scott's nine year relationship that spawned three children was mainly controlled by Lord Disick's drinking problem and his constant need to go out and never come home, which was a major storyline for years on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However during one of his benders, Scott decided to meet his ex-girfriend in Cannes and cheated on Kourt, which was the last straw for his baby mama in 2014. Although Scott tried for years to rekindle their romance, they have both since moved on and are currently dating their respective barely legal boos.
Shannon & David Beador - The Real Housewives Of Orange County
From the day that the cameras started rolling in the Beador's Orange County estate it has been reality TV gold. David initially started having an affair only a few days after they signed onto The Real Housewives of Orange County which made for massive conflict between the couple in their debut season. Following Shannon exposing his affair on the show after she discovered text messages, hotel receipts and verbally abused his mistress at a football game, the couple worked through their issues and eventually had a vowel renewal. However once claims were made by Vicki that David was physically abusive, Shannon began to stress eat and worry about the situation. Seeing Shannon in peril made him lose interest in the marriage and took their relationship back to where it had been in their first season of the show and eventually Shannon announced their split at the season 12 reunion. They are currently in the process of getting a divorce which will be featured on the upcoming season.
Luann de Lesseps & Tom D'Agostino - The Real Housewives Of New York City
It's about Tom. This relationship was nothing but drama when it was revealed that Tom had already dated Luann's fellow The Real Housewives Of New York City co-stars and frenemies Ramona and Sonja, only weeks before. Shortly after they met, the couple were engaged and Bethenny Frankel had photographic evidence of Tom making out with a girl at The Regency DAYS before their engagement party. Talk about controversy. However Lu persisted with the wedding much to the anger of her co-stars who warned her about Tom's cheating ways. Seven months later they got divorced due to Tom's refusal to quit his bachelor lifestyle in August 2017. A few months later in December, Lu infamously drank too much and was arrested in Palm Beach at the same hotel where she had been married only a year earlier.
Ramona & Mario Singer - The The Real Housewives Of New York City
Ramona and her husband were basically the prom king and queen of The Real Housewives of New York City which made this the most shocking affair in reality TV history, who knew that he would turn out to be such a pig? Instead of Mario buying a motorbike or getting a piercing, his mid life crisis consisted of having an affair with a girl 30 years his junior, which was exposed in Page Six. Although Ramona tried to rekindle their spark and yelled at Andy Cohen when he asked about her marriage at the season six reunion, the couple eventually split in 2014. At 61-years-old The Singer Stinger is hotter than ever and is continuing to patrol the Upper East Side for dick, while Mario's young bimbo left him for another man. Karma's a bitch!
Cynthia Bailey & Peter Thomas - The Real Housewives of Atlanta
Another couple that fell victim to the vowel renewal curse. Cynthia and Peter's marriage was the subject of attention on The Real Housewives of Atlanta when a video surfaced of Peter kissing a women's face and whispering sweet nothings in her ear at his bar. After six long years of this couple constantly having to battle cheating rumours and financial struggles they finally called quits on their relationship in 2016. 50 Cynt then began dating a new guy on the show, who was then accused of having a girlfriend when they met. How does Cynthia attract all these chocolate cheaters? She must be the Khloe Kardashian of the ATL.
Camille & Kelsey Grammer - The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The Frasier star famously got his then-wife a job on the debut season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so that we could pursue his affair with a 26-year-old flight attendant in New York behind her back. Talk about a mess. Kelsey left Camille toward the end of season one and she blames her rough marriage for her bitchy behaviour on the show's first season. The two continue to have a strained relationship to this day and co-parent through a third party. Now 61-year-old Kelsey has two young children to the hoe he cheated with and Camille is engaged to a rich silver fox lawyer. I think Saint Camille wins?!
Brandi Glanville & Eddie Cibrian - The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills & Vanderpump Rules
Although the actual affair didn't play out on reality TV, the aftermath basically gave Brandi a reason to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and was the basis for the invention of it's sexy spinoff show. Eddie Cibrian, a "famous" D-list actor, cheated on Brandi with his now wife LeAnn Rimes and every cocktail waitress in LA. One of those cocktail waitresses happened to be Scheana Marie, who "coincidentally" worked at Brandi's RHOBH co-star Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant. Brandi and Scheana's beef was shown whenever they would "bump" into each other at an LVP event and their confrontation was actually the opening scene of Vanderpump Rules. For years Brandi feuded with Eddie, LeAnn & Scheana on Twitter but she seems to be getting along with all of them. For now.
Jax Taylor & Everyone - Vanderpump Rules
Who in the Vanderpump Rules cast hasn't had Jax Taylor's penis inside them? The serial cheater infamously got a porn star pregnant in Vegas while he was dating Stassi, then had sloppy sex with her best friend Kristen while her boyfriend and HIS own best friend Tom Sandoval, was sleeping in the other room. Just when everyone thought that he couldn't possibly out do himself, he admitted to cheating on his Kentucky girlfriend Brittany with her friend and background member of the show, Faith, an elderly care giver, who's 95-year-old patient was sleeping in a bed adjacent to the one they were fucking in. I don't know what's worse: the infidelity or the elder abuse? If that wasn't enough, an audio recording of Jax and Faith's hookup was released and included the swollen thumb of a man saying disgusting things about Brittany. Somehow they are still together, but we all know that it's only a matter of time before she walks in on him fucking his reiki master!
Mike Shouhed & Jessica Parido - Shahs Of Sunset
This was possibly the most confusing cheating storyline in history. After the couple had met and got married on Shahs Of Sunset in their fairytale Persian wedding, Mike & Jessica's marriage was rocked with a scandal when she found text messages on Mike's iCloud that proved he had cheated on her before they got engaged. She ended up leaving him and he refused to tell his friends and cast members on the show. After the reality star had repeatedly denied being unfaithful towards Jessica, he finally admitted his cheating ways to Reza. Although the couple tried to work through their issues in therapy they eventually got a divorce in 2017.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro & Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola - Jersey Shore
Drama and infidelity were synonymous with Ronnie & Sammi during their entire alcohol induced relationship. The couple first got together in the early days of Jersey Shore and became the show's first and only real power couple. However when the on-and-off couple were in Miami, Snooki and JWOWW noticed Ron making out with girls at the club so they decided to write Sammi an anonymous note that detailed his unfaithful actions, which resulted in one of the biggest reality TV blowouts in history. They continued their relationship until after the show was over but eventually broke up for good in 2014 when Ronnie cheated on her again. Now four years on, Ronnie has just welcomed his first baby into the world and is starring on the new Jersey Shore reunion, while Sammi decided not to return to the show out of respect to her new meat head boyfriend.
