Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux Are Over

It's official: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have split after nearly 3 years of marriage!

In a joint statement the couple announced:

“"We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

They became engaged in 2012 and later married in a secret wedding in 2015.

By all accounts Jen and Justin were doing fine, but according to new reports the couple's marriage was troubling. The two allegedly split over the holidays because they realised they were "two different people." Justin spends most of his time in New York while Jen lives in LA and they just couldn't make it work.

The couple also had different friendship groups. Jen didn't mesh well with Justin's edgy artsy crowd while he was "bored" by her Hollywood circle of friends. Speculation of their split erupted when Jen celebrated her 49th birthday with her girlfriends, who were apparently very supportive of their split.

They are claiming to still be good friends, but that won't last long.

I've read a whole heap of blind items about these two, but I didn't want to be believe because of my endless hope that Jen will find her prince charming one day. I always hate it whenever Jen breaks up with a man, because she's been through enough!

Jen's infamous ex Brad Pitt is also on the market, so maybe they will rekindle their relationship? Stranger things have happened!
